Short Answer

Our ecommerce checkout process is slightly different that what some people are used to in the account process.

For example, when a new customer goes to place an order, the first screen they are presented with is a First Name, Last Name, Email address.  After that, they will fill in their address information, etc…

On the second visit to your online store, when they go to the checkout, and fill in their First Name, Last Name, and Email Address, Veracart will automatically populate the shipping and billing addresses automatically.

Detailed Explanation

This is a matter of convenience for the shopper.  No need to create an account in order to checkout.  

We do not recommend using the Checkout Setting which requires the shopper to create a password protected account to check out—this can potentially deter a few shoppers.
