Short Answer:
You will be able to see which orders and how many orders were placed through a "referrer" you have setup.
Long Answer:1) Create customer- Admin > Customers > New Customer(bottom of screen)
2) Assign an affiliate code to this customer- Admin > Customer > Click on Customers Name > Referral Code Number: Place the "code" here. I usually call it something like this adplacement/date or like this: ksl052609; but it can be any code you want it to be. Just make sure it makes sense to you.
3) Give the affiliate link to the advertiser or use the affiliate link on your site.- Veracart generates a default URL based on the domain and default catalog page. [http://www.domain.com/catalog.html?refPrn=trackingcode] You can modify the URL to point to where you want the advertiser to point to on your site. Just make sure the ?refPrn=trackingcode is attached to the end of the url.
Tracking the Results:
Within the customer edit screen in the veracart admin, on the bottom right corner of the page there will be a drop down: Load orders: for this customer or referred by this customer.
Select referred by this customer.
A list of completed orders referred by the customer will show below the blue bar.
