Short Answer: First, be sure that it is not simply a slow delay in your email—sometimesemail systems can be delayed by minutes, or hours in bad cases. If it’s not a delay in the email, then in most cases (not all) this is a problem by your email provider (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail.com). To be sure, you can add additional email addresses in the store Settings to pinpoint whether the problem is the fault of your email account or something else. You should use another provider when testing this; so if your current email account in your “Notification Email Address” is a Gmail account, then you could add a Yahoo, or Hotmail account as well. If you find that this does not seem to work, meaning the additional email accounts also do not get emails, then let us know. Our shopping cart software has not had a history of email problems. Detailed Explanation: In the Store Settings (SETTINGS > Store Settings), next to “Notification Email Address,” add an additional email account from another service provider. For example: john@somewhere.com,james@anywhere.com. Please follow the instructions regarding “Notification Email Address" in the contextual help.
